Plug, Play, Rock!

The neck is incredibly well crafted. It is as fast as you can play it and will never let you down. You will have it for life and won't find anything like it on the market. If you want an upgrade for that bass or if standard issue is not enough for you, go Fender custom shop, but don't leave that web site at any cost! You can't go wrong with an American Fender. I have been playing bass for 16 years now and that bass is my best friend.

1- The sound can go from very deep velvet with smooth reaction to strong attack nu-metal tone. You can play whatever style you want with it.

2- Features are simple (one volume per pickup and one tone knob) and you won't be able to get a bad tone out of it.

3- I use that bass for studio sessions all the time. The output level is perfect and the only noize you will hear is your rocking frenzy bass slap!

4- On stage, it is just incredible!! You can slap it, pop it, finger it or pick it and it will deliver all the time!!! That bass responds well to all right hand techniques. It is also very sturdy. Don't worry, you won't break it!!

5- Jazz Bass VS Precision? The precision sounds like a sledgehammer. The Jazz Bass sounds like a katana blade! Sharp and precise. I recommand getting both of them, but if you have only one bass to buy, go for the Jazz. If you crank up both pickups to 11, you will get a sound close to the Precision's and still have a bit more flexibility.

6- The fifth string sounds nice for rock and metal. Perfect to get the low 5th from the note you play on the E string, but unless you are playing heavy metal or dirty stuff, don't play it open.

Well this is my dream bass. The tone is amazing but it does have some questionable things.

1- three pieces body, c'mon for the price i expect a one piece body
2- bad nut height, too high from factory
3- I can't lower the action of this bass. I have the saddles all the way down, and I set up my basses myself. I have a Sterling Sub ray 5, and the setup on that bass is so low, but in the Fender the setup is middle to hi.
4- Can't intonate the 5 string. I tried with different strings and tiles, not one works.

Except for that it's an amazing instrument. I love it.

Sorry for my bad English I am from Argentina.
