I bought this amp last year, I was very intrigued by the unique look and amazing sound I got while trying it in store. The tremolo dial made a helicopter noise, I was told that some noise was normal. It got louder and louder. A few months later no sound came out of the amp at all! Fender replaced it, no questions asked. I got a brand new excelsior a few weeks later. A couple of months later, one of the tubes went microphonic! not a HUGE deal, but still, not even a year and another issue. I trust Fender will figure these out eventually, but for now, I'm going to use the Fender Blues Jr III. It has more history and seems very reliable. I should note that I treat my equipment like gold, Jerry, GOLD.

I bought this amp at the beginning of this year. It sounds absolutely beautiful. I play acoustic for a country folk band and the sounds coming from this amp are absolutely stunning. Such a nice and easy amp, and it looks so retro. I have also played an SG and a Thinline Telecaster through the amp and couldn't be happier with the sounds. Strongly recommended!
