I have owned my Mustang head for at least a year now and I love it. Would have been nice to have the dials on the front of the amp. I recently got a call from a old friend we need help our guitar player is no longer with us. We have a show in Cleveland can you make it? I brought the Mustang V head and two small Marshall 1X10 speaker cabs for the mini Marshall Stack. Everything is mic'd today so no worries about drummers any more. Between this amp and the Roland / Fender Stratocaster I had the perfect tone all night. From playing Iron Maiden to ZZ Top I was very pleased with the set up. Digital has come a long way. Its not the best amp in the world, I will not sell my Marshall full stack and I am not a Fender fanboy. What I am is someone who knows what works for me to get the best sound possible; even my Les Pauls sound great going through this rig. Well worth the cash for this amp.

Purchased this only a week ago so any long term issues not uncovered. I have this Amp on top of a Marshall full stack (2 - 4x12 cabs). I wish the manual controls were on the front so I didn't need a step stool to use them. However, using the Fuse software on a laptop you can do anything (and more than) you need to do. Still if you set your presets as you plan to play, the 4 button switch can handle the job. The labeling on the back panel is backwards! The left channels are to your right, the right to your left! It doesn't make any difference the way I use it, but if you want to take full advantage of the stereo imaging then it means you take care. I wish it had a balance knob and even a channel muting switch for when stereo imaging is important. And how about the ability to plug two instruments in, one with each channel? But, I see the price increasing even as I say these things.
The amplifier gives wonderful bang for the buck. With a 60's Brit Amp selected and my Marshall Full stack it gives me the sound I wanted.
The amp looks a bit fragile to be lugging it around. There isn't even corner protectors (something I intend to change as soon as I get permission from Fender). Since the plan is to allow local churches and perhaps our small town community borrow it for special occasions I need to package it a bit better. Again, the price far outweighs not getting corner protection!
In all I am a VERY happy camper. The amp and cabs make me sound much better than I actually am and I rarely use overdrive or distortion! Most fun I've had since Motorcycle Racing.

Bought this head a year ago. Love the effects, and versatility. works great with my cabinets. I run it thru a 412 stereo cab, or a 115 black widow cab, and I never lose sound quality.

I needed an amp for a backup to my marshall jcm 900 4100 100 watt after an issue as I was about to play a show. I had to use my friends head as my other amp lost its foot pedal (125.00 to replace). I went to my local music store and played with peavey vyper, I had previously got a line 6 spider 4 and it was returned the same week ( and I bought 200.00 extra pedal 600.00 total) and it was good but at high volume garbage.
This amp is loud, clear, and will play over drummer on 3-4 it's got free software included to record and make settings...
So many features I can't even honestly tell you ill be able to use to their full extent for awhile.
Overall buy without worry play live and it's replaced my marshall it's that good
