This amp is absolutely amazing and well worth the price! You've heard it said.."you get what you pay for!" I've played for over 40 years..been through several Twins, Super Reverbs and a couple of other Fender amps along the way. Currently own a Mesa Lonestar 2x12, a Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb RI and a Vox AC15. Got a couple of Tele's, a Strat and a Gretsch Setzer. I wanted something with good clean sound and the Fender "punch" and came close to getting another Twin or Super Reverb. I mostly play 60's through 80's music and contemporary Christian music at church. My search led me to spring for this 57 Bandmaster....I am SO happy! The cleans are amazing and the vintage edge you can create with this are stunning! I'm running a board with a TC Flashback, Fulltone OCD, TC HOF reverb and a Keely compressor. This puppy takes all pedals well if you need them but straight up it's awesome by itself! The construction is second to none and she's beautiful just sitting there! If you get a chance to play one DO IT! You'll be blown away! Thank you Fender for re-issuing this Super Star!

I have several Fender amps including an original 67 Twin Reverb and a Twinolux but this Bandmaster beauty nails it for me.
It doesn't have reverb but you DON'T miss it as the amp and speaker configuration fills the room nicely.
I'm not a fan of that total saturated, distorted tone, which I was a bit afraid of hearing all the YT clips of this amps but mine stays clean with a Tele a Strat and a Tele with humbuckers!
It goes pretty loud at home but at a lower level you still get a great tone.
I A/B tested the amp with my Twinolux and this one wins.
One thing I must add is that I always go to the mic input 1 for the amp it works so much better for my guitarsound!
