Semi-Professional Alternative Rock Punk

At first I had the squier standard in black metallic, which I won, and I traded it for this, since I don't like black guitars, traded with some guy on Craigslist. I kept the neck of the standard Tele cause it felt and looked better since it was a rosewood neck, and the guy wanted his neck. This guitar sounded better than the standard, in my opinion. This tone is amazing, sounds amazing, this is one of my three favorite guitars I own.

This is definitely one of my main guitars, behind my vm hh jag, and stang.

The settings are so easy to get the sound you want. This guitar feels so right, as do my other two. The neck pickup is nice and warm and the bridge is nice and bright, but not too bright. I play grunge and punk and this is perfect. When i got the vintage blonde, one friend thought the color was ugly and preferred my older black one. I like to stick out with everything about guitar, sound and look, and this isn't your normal basic color. Only problem I had was the neck. When i played the original neck it didn't feel comfortable but then i was used to the standard neck and the maple on light body doesn't look amazing and pop, and the head, you'd think they would realize when they made it it would be a pain to hang, but then people will say you can't change a classic.
All in all a 5 star guitar, great tone, feel, sound, everything.

This guitar uses P90s which leads to Humming except when using both pickups because they are wired in a hum phase cancelling way which is great.

The finish is not the best, but is good enough considering the price tag, and the Duncan Design P90s have a great sound, however i decided to make of this guitar some kind of project:

Bought a set of Seymour Duncan Hot P90s cream color, (the guitar is cream also, with black hardware) so the pickups contrast with the background, but these pickups aren't wired the same way the stock ones so it has no humbucking when using both pickups, so i had to open one of them and basically re-build it upside down, at last there is humbucking again at the middle position, also setted it up with some .010 strings which gives more power and more definition compared to any .009 string set.

Now after the overhauling this guitar has so much Hard-rock in it i had to buy a flame themed strap!

Before the overhauling i would give a 6 to this guitar, but now i would give it an 8 and not 9 mostly because of the finish since is just good, not great.

This guitar is sure a great buy to whoever is tempted to try out some P90s and like the Tele body, even more is even better when overhauled.

Awesome guitar especially for the money spent!

The P90 pick ups create an amazing tone in many styles of music. I used this guitar in a punk band and I am currently using it in a metalcore band (tuned to drop C) and the guitar works brilliantly!

Easy to play, looks great and is very comfy to use.

The only small detail that I feel let's it down is the strap pegs, I have had to get some strap locks as the pegs are that small the strap tends to come off, however like I said it is only a tiny detail and can be solved quickly and cheaply.

All in all a great looking, sounding and easily playable guitar. Which for £200 you can't beat!
