Professional guitarists in all musical genres have relied on the Fender® Telecaster® guitar since its early 1950s introduction for its powerful tone and smooth playability. The left-handed Standard Telecaster combines the best of old and new, with hotter single-coil pickups, shielded body cavities, medium jumbo frets, six-saddle strings-through-body bridge, cast/sealed tuners, tinted neck, parchment pickguard and control knobs, and '70s-style headstock logo.

This is a great Left Handed Guitar! I bought the Lake Placid Blue Telecaster MIM and really impressed with the Neck and and the slight gloss on the fingerboard of the Maple. Well put together. I wish Fender made more Squier (Vintage / Modern) Basses and Guitars and MIM models available than just black, red, or white ; or, the typical Tele or Strat (Mustangs and Jaguars, welcome). In addition, it would be nice to see more mid-priced Guitars and Basses. I really like the Lake Placid Blue though I wish the Color was more like the Website. In person the Guitar is great, but a little darker, than what is usually depicted in the photos of a more or less Lighter tone.
Lastly, it would be nice to see (other) colors such as: honeyburst ; Seafoam Green ; Light Pink, etc for colors. Be nice to have more options (afforable) for Humbuckers etc. Other than that, a great sounding well built guitar, thanks Fender Made in Mexico and all their hard work. =)

This is a briliant guitar.
I can't say I have ever been compelled to jump out of bed in the morning and play the guitar but this one has created that enthusiasm to do just that.
The neck and action on this guitar beggers belief, for me it is perfect.
Plug it in to the amp and turn it up and it's a Tele alright. There is no mistaking that.
Now I never would have thought I would have been a Telecaster player. It's a funny thing preconceived ideas.

I owned a Tele back in the 60's
The one I have now is from 2008.
No big changes over the time.
Good hardware and great playabillity right out of the box.
The tuners stay in tune and pots and switch work perfect.
I play this Tele almost every day.
I own more guitars but the Fender Tele is my favoured one.
You can play any style of music on a Tele.
After all this guitar was a part of the cradle of modern music.
Conect it with a Fender amp and it's tone to the bone.
