As down-home and sophisticated as the city it's named for, the Deluxe Nashville Tele® guitar comes with a Tex-Mex™ Stratocaster pickup in between two Tex-Mex Telecaster pickups. This array, combined with five-way Strat-o-Tone™ switching, makes it one of the most versatile Telecaster models we make. Features include ash (Amber, Honey Blonde) or alder (Candy Apple Red, Brown Sunburst) body, maple or rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets, brown shell pickguard, vintage-style tuners and vintage-style six-saddle bridge.

This Telecaster turns out to be the most badass and baffling guitar I've ever played! In short, it perfectly suits all of the music styles I play, from pop rock to alternative hard rock. The vintage-style tuners happened to be awesome! Re-stringing is pretty easy with these tuners. Another thing that blew my mind was that the Tex-Mex pickups can handle distortion pretty well, contrary to what I read in other reviews. HiNT: It only takes to lower the tone knob to give the distorted sound more body;. Long story short, the fret work is flawless! There's no buzz at all. The body is pretty comfortable altough it's not a contoured body. The neck really helps me, because I have kind of small hands. It feels kind of beefy but it's not (plot twist). I highly recommend this guitar to everyone! It worths the money you pay for it!

My nashville tele was a gift from God. I'm a 15 year old that just started playing around a year ago and I played this guitar in a guitar center one day and knew it was the one for me. It has so many tones! The front (neck) pickup gives a bassy thick tone while the strat pickup allows the Hendrix sound while the bridge gives a twangy tone for country which is where my heart really is. There was no way for me to afford it but an opportunity came along and i got a steal on this guitar. It is way better than my other guitar which wont stay in tune. This guitar plays like butter and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Although I have played and owned Fender Strats, various Gibsons and currently a Case J1, I have always wanted a Telecaster, and when one came my way I couldn't resist!
It was one of the best decisions I have ever made, my Telecaster Nashville Deluxe plays beautifully and is loaded with a wonderful variation of tones to suit all kinds of music. The sound is totally authentic, and the finish is immaculate. Like another comment here my only wish is that you could pair both Tele pickups and leave out the Strat pickup when required, but that is a minor point. I can't rate this guitar highly enough, for the money it's an absolute bargain, not easy to find these days. Treat yourself, if you haven't already!

This one seriously is a nice guitar. Great neck, plays easily, smooth and fast. Tone is authentic. One of the best value guitars made by Fender today. It is genuine Fender from top to tail. Mine is well made with a flawless finish. A great great sound through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III.

I've never played a better neck. I don't think I've played a more versatile guitar. If only you could get the bridge/neck Tele sound. Apart from that, Strat, or Tele, pedals or clean... you'll never play another solidbody. You'll never need to.

Bought this guitar brand new in 2011, in candy apple red with a rosewood fretboard, for me it's one of the best mexican fenders, it's feels like a usa made, all the parts of the guitar are quality, it holds it's tune really well, the finish is flawless and the pickups and switchgear is amazing, it is so useful having the strat middle tex mex pickup and a 5 way statotone pickup selector, plugged into a good amp you can get both strat and tele sounds, also it sounds amazing through a fender twin with reverb/vibrato, this guitar is ideal for country playing and indie/britpop style twangy sounds, it's not so good for heavier stuff but if you're looking at buying one of these I doubt that's what you often play. if I bought one again I would probably go for one with a maple fretboard for abit more snap, but it's a great guitar either way.

I bought my Nashville in 2002 with a black paint job and maple fret board. I have changed out all the pickups since then. I put a Dimarzio twang king in the bridge, a '96 American strat pickup in the middle and a Rio Grande tall boy in the neck. After 11 years of heavy playing it is ready for the frets to be re-leveled but still playable. I'm at home with my Nashville in hand and I hope to never sale it .

My first fender I ever purchased new. I have always wanted a tele just for its looks and on my first visit to the us I got myself one after checking out different tele s all day. My final choice ended up with a Mexican made one because it sounded best.
I really liked the 3 pick configuration making this an all-around axe.
I am thinking of getting a new one again since i sold this one after a few years making a nice buck on it due to a good exchange rate and the important price difference betweeen the us & europe. Though I now regret my sale.
The candy red finish was impeccable, sounds good and certainly value for price

This is a great guitar that acts like two different guitars.
There's that great Tele sound then when you need it there's that great Strat tone on the center pickup.
It's one of the guitars my friends pick up to play and are surprised at how good it sounds then won't put it down.
