Saw this guitar in a music store about a month ago and was going in and playing it for hours. I fell in love with this strat and had to have it. Finally ordered up my own and I love it. Beautiful craftsmanship, awesome tone, great playability, beautiful finish, and just looks awesome. Not a single complaint about this guitar. Really like that the 4 position is the bridge and neck pickup. I did a lot of research and looking around before I got this guitar and can tell you this guitar it is worth every penny! Definitely as good as a custom shop guitar!

Was apprehensive about buying a Mex Strat, but this guitar is a thing of beauty. Superbly made and presented with all the tone you expect of a high quality Stratocaster. This is the fourth Strat in my collection, the others all being USA models. All sound slightly different, but this one takes me back to the tones of an early 60's Strat I once owned and foolishly traded many years ago. I'm happier with it strung with 009's for my style of playing rather than the 10's which were originally fitted. The only negative is that I wish Fender had fitted a tension spring in the trem arm socket as in USA models to stop the arm flopping about. Easily remedied though if you can find a dealer who keeps those tiny springs in stock!

Awesome guitar, just awesome! Never owned a Strat 'till now, the only thing is getting used to the cord coming out the top but the rest is great!

As soon as I saw this guitar I had to have it. Love the playability and tone of this strat.
The gold hardware really compliments this guitar.

Finally got it, waited 3 years after the 60th Telecaster. The Stratocaster is lightweight, very easy to hold and play. But I'd say the Telecaster sounds better, wider range of tones. I like having a Mexican Strat.

Love this guitar, I tried a half dozen before I finally decided to buy. I was leery that it wasn't an American made Strat, but have to say I love that nitro-cellulose neck, and the lacquer finish, it's similar to a '57 reissue I had back in the 90's that I miss dearly. Love the vintage pickups, really brings out the bright in position 2 where I like it. Still making a few adjustments, but so far it's exactly what I wanted. Only complaint I have is the tuning machines are tough to break in. After two weeks I'm still going 1/2 and full steps out after a half down on the trem. It'll work itself out eventually, every Strat I've had suffers this for a while. Best way to break it in, play it. You won't regret picking this up if you haven't already, great guitar for the price and great quality for a remake of a classic.

I have just purchased this strat and all I can say is that I am blown away by the way this guitar plays. The moment that I started playing, it was meant to be. I love the whole presentation of this strat. The picture here doesn't do it justice. The lacquer finish on the body and neck is really nice. The sound of the American Vintage pickups are killer, especially the neck pickup. Very warm tones oozes out of my amp. It plays great and the locking vintage tuners keep it it in perfect tune. I gave up my road worn strat for this one. It blows it away. This is my seventh strat I have owned and it is by far the best one I have owned. It definitely plays like a Custom Shop. If anyone is interested in purchasing this strat, do it! You won't regret it!
... and one great guitar indeed.
I only wish it would come w/out that gold hardware - after all, she's not a Mary Kaye.
