Originally based on the idea of a Jazzmaster with humbucking pickups, the Squier Jagmaster also incorporates Jaguar guitar touches such as a shorter scale (24"), which, along with its eminent affordability, makes it ideal for students and beginners.
Squier introduced its Jagmaster guitar model toward the end of the mid-1990s grunge explosion as a distinctive amalgamation of Fender's two most suitably "subversive" guitar models, the Jaguar and the Jazzmaster. It became a cult favorite and remains a singularly appealing model today.
