This bass is absolutely fantastic. The tone is amazing, and the sound it has is unmatched by any bass I've heard. It may be a bass made for playing metal, but I've played loads of jazz, classic rock and even some classical, this bass can do it all. The build quality is fantastic, the sparkle blue finish looks incredible, and the strings are absolutely sexy. The only two problems I've had with it are, the mirror pickguard gets covered in fingerprints super easily, and if you sweat a lot, it will show on the chrome. The only other problem is that it's really heavy, and depending on how long your playing, it can kill your back.
But besides those two problems I've loved everything about the Steve Harris bass, it's truly a one of a kind instrument. Two thumbs up!

This is an excellent quality P Bass and produces a solid tone especially since it's a passive bass. The neck is quite chunky but has a great feel and good playability. Considering it's a single pickup bass it can produce a great range of tones by varying playing technique and using the passive tone.
This is a great instrument and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great P Bass- oh yeah... and it looks absolutely stunning!

It´s the one i like best to play on of my 9 basses!
The neck, the strings and the sound is really mindblowing! The neck is quite thick, but feels great anyway!
I´ve never played another passive 4 string with such power in the low end!
It´s needed 4 adjustements but now it´s perfect! (But we have cold and dry winters in Sweden and it could be the reason for this)
The only disadvantage is the weight. 4,7Kg is too much for me if I need to play standing up more than 2 hours.
It would be great to have 2 active tone controls and switchable between passive and active mode on this bass, but then it wouldn´t be a Steve Harris replica.

I've owned the Steve Harris P Bass since 2009 (the year it was introduced) The workmanship & construction of this bass is excellent , The sound of the Seymour Duncan SP1 pickups is full & deep the neck is thick & has a chunky feel, the Steve Harris Signature strings that come strung on this bass are the cherry on top of the cake, This is a great sounding & great playing bass.

I've been playing bass for 30 years and this bass is by far the best one I have owned. I kicked myself regularly after selling my Fender P-Bass in my 20's. I finally decided another P-Bass was in order and I couldn't pass up the signature version from the artist that got me into playing bass in the first place. The sound from this bass is incredible. The fingerboard is smooth as glass. It is a beefy bass so you'll want to pair it with a nice wide strap, otherwise you will surely feel the weight of this monster. I put the Steve Harris signature strings on it to round it out and can't be happier.
