Great for practice & modding !

I own the Red version of this, which I bought at my local Guitar Center last year. For the price, it has to be the best solid state combo going. At a very loud, 25 watts , it can be used for practice or small gigs. I did take the stock speaker out of mine and replaced it with a Eminence Rajun Cajun which transformed this amp into a true tone monster . Doing that, will make this amp definitely louder than heck and capable of hanging with the big boys as far as doing club gigs are concerned. All in all, this is one great little amp that has the classic fender tone which sounds great whether you choose to mod it or not.

It's great for vocals. Volume for size - 5 out of 5. Great for a first amp. I got it in the limited edition blue. Portability - 2.5 out of 5. Look - 3 out of 5.

Fantastic amp!

I own 8 amps from 20 watts to 200 watts. This amp has the best sound hands down! The normal channel is super clean and lets my tele come through with a great sound. Although only rated at 25 watts, this amp is LOUD.

TONS of BANG for your $

I typically play Fend American Standard Strat straight through my pedalboard unit to the mixing board at my small church, so I was looking for a small practice amp when I came across this guy in the used section of a local music shop. I was a little skeptical, so I let it be and went home to do some research. All I saw was solid reviews, good demo videos and overall happy customers. Unfortunately someone scooped that used one up before I could, but I got myself a new one soon after.

I LOVE the "aux in" feature! Since this is primarily a practice amp, that is a genius feature. I got a simple and cheap 1/8th to RCA adapter and plug my phone/mp3 player/computer up to it to jam to tracks and practice licks all the time.

The reverb is sweet, too. A little goes a long way, but adds a nice touch to most any sound. Typically I leave it at about three or four.

The two channels are great. Both are responsive to volume and tone in your fingers (though not as much as a good tube amp of course). The clean channel is bright and crisp. The gain channel is plenty versatile enough for most playing. I rarely go up past 5 on the gain, usually hanging around two or three. *I do wish that channel selection button were a bit easier to find and hit.*

I like the volume/power of this little guy. Again, I mostly play at home, but I do like to rock out a bit. Usually setting the volume knob at three or four is good for me, occasionally I'll get it up to six. Going beyond eight or nine is when you start to hear and feel the limits of this small amp. This typically starts with some low end buzz (sometimes even at lower volumes, depending on what and how you are playing). But in my use this is usually a nonissue.

I have gone straight into it and I have also used my pedalboard between my axe and the amp. It handles both very well.

I don't know why or how any of these end up getting returned to wind up in the used section of any shop. Unless you have unrealistic expectations (like playing outside gigs in front of crowds with a live band) these are excellent amps! Honestly, they might even work for that if you mic your amp through the system, depending on how heavy your drummer is, but I wouldn't push it that hard.

If you are on a tight budget, looking for a practice amp for home use, or to easily lug around to practices or even small room gigs with a small low volume band, look no further than this guy. It is nice that this thing is so small and light too.

Would also be great for a beginner!

I love the sound that this amp puts out but I would like to get more reverb out of it. It is easy to transport and it is a good fit with my guitar.
