Great Guitar!

(4.0)

Amateur Blues Jazz Rock Classic Rock

This is a great guitar! I always wanted a '66 with the block inlays and the binding but they were too expensive. This had the perfect price for me and is a guitar that lives up to that price. Once i set it up with a higher action and the string guage i use it plays like a dream! The pickups sound great for my style. I play mostly blues and some classic rock on it. The two circuits make it very versatile especially for songs that build up at parts. I could see this guitar doing any kind of style. It has easily become my number 2 or 1 and a half since i like it so much! It's hard to replace my other guitar for the harder rock but it is my go to for blues and anything lightly distorted or clean. Only problem i have is that the trem arm falls out and doesn't lock and stay in place but i don't use it much so it doesn't really matter. Overall great guitar and one that i always dreamed of.

Amazing guitar. Vintage mojo!

Amateur Classic Rock Country

I am a big fan of Fender guitars and amps. I owned a 66 Jaguar back in the late 70's and early eighties. The Squire Vintage Modified Jazzmaster delivers all the vintage vibe of the originals. The quality fit, finish, hardware and electronics for a guitar in this price range is nothing short of amazing. My sonic blue Jazzmaster is flawless. The guitar was set up nicely from the factory and plays like a dream. My only complaint is with the set screws on the bridge saddle pieces. Mine had a tendency to vibrate loose until I put a tiny drop if thread lock on each screw. Problem solved. I own other Fender guitars that cost 3 x as much, but still love playing the Jazzmaster with its full twangy tone. It's a definite keeper and I highly recommend It.
