Squier's Classic Vibe Jazz Bass® '60s has all of the "deluxe" elements its Fender® big brother had when it was introduced in the 1960s--a groovy offset waist, a narrow fast-action maple neck with a rosewood Fingerboard, two custom single-coil pickups, individual volume controls that let players "solo" either pickup or blend them, and a master tone control for overall sound shaping. The look is pure Fender--a classic Olympic White finish on a basswood body with a tortoise shell pickguard, thumb rest and HiMass™ bridge with brass barrel saddles. The vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a rosewood Fingerboard with 20 vintage-style frets and a modern 9.5" radius. Tonal versatility and clarity with a quick, punchy up-front sound.

I actually bought this bass twice.
I played and loved the first one I bought and then foolishly returned it.
I ended up buying another Classic Vibe Jazz because I couldn't believe how good the first one sounded on YouTube when ajam that I participated in was posted to this site.
The bass has been flawless. It only needed a minor truss rod adjustment for its first set up. I have even kept the original strings on it and I have gigged with it several times. The bridge is heavier than those on the Mexican Fenders and it is easy to adjust.
The neck and fret work is very good and the tone of this bass is pure Jazz bass.
Both pickups are very powerful and can be used individually with ease. The fit and finish on this bass are excellent.
I wish beginner basses were this good and affordable when I started playing bass.
This is a great bass and maybe the best bass value on the market right now.

Very well priced, great durability and at a great standard.
Simply could not recommend a more reliable bass if i tried.

This bass guitar is amazing, its playability, feel, tone and characteristics are special and provide that true 60s Jazz Bass sound. From the moment that I picked it up, I knew that it felt consistent and true. It has the tonal quality, feel, looks and playability of its big brother which absolutely amazes me. You really do have a job telling them apart. It is fantastic for replicating and playing like Geddy Lee, which being a Rush fan to me is brilliant.
I would recommend this bass guitar to anybody, and will certainly buy further bass guitars from Squier.

A gorgeous bass. Easy to play, also for beginners. Nicely crafted peace of instrument. I love it.

This is my most reliable bass guitar. Although I have two other basses that are much more expensive, this is my favorite. The simplicity and playability is great. The best part is that the tone sounds excellent and the action is low.
