American Vintage '58 Telecaster®

Modelo : 0110302801

I've checked out a few of these guitars at Guitar Center - for the price, I expect the details to be spot on. I was not impressed by the three piece ash body, although it was fairly lightwieght which most of the vintage 57's and 58's tend to be. The headstock decal was misaligned relative to the originals - seems to be straight in line like the american standard decals. The sound was good enough for my ears based on what I know about the vintage sound (played a few at Chicago Music Exchange). For the money, I'd like to see a one or two piece ash body, and more attention to detail.

Bought second-hand from a friend, but was in 'as new' condition. I play a lot of 50s & 60s covers and find the Tele is ideal for that classic 'twang' of the era. I use it mainly for rhythm so haven't explored all its capabilities, but it does everything as well as I need it to. Cannot fault it, superb guitar!
