Allison is a Mexican Pop Punk band formed in November, 2002 in Mexico City. They were one of the bands that were born in Foro Alicia, a place where many Punk Rock bands would gather. Through the use of different propaganda tools, as well as MySpace and promotional items (ie. pins, stamps, shirts) they were able to make themselves known and were able to record their first EP: "Fragil. This EP contained 5 songs, which later on became their first formal album called "Allison" through a transnational label.
Since signing with Sony/BMG in 2005, the band has recorded three studio albums, as well as a documental DVD with musical interpretations of some of the precursors of Punk Rock in Mexico (Hulespuma, 301izq, Axpi, Big Spin...).They have participated in various compilations, including "Amo al Divo de Juarez" (Tribute to Juan Gabriel). They've had 9 singles that have sold them thousands of copies around the world, and have participated in important music festivals, such as Warped Tour, Vive Latino, LACM, SXSW,among others.
In 2010, Allison started working on their third album called "120 KM/H", which was available at the end of 2012. The first single from this album is "16", a song that has the unique Allison sound and was quickly picked up by radio stations around the Country. Check their website for tour information.
