Longtime T.S.O.L. guitarist Ron Emory has infused some truly distinctive Fender acoustic guitars with his years of SoCal-punk cred and expertise. Among the latest and greatest is the new Ron Emory “Loyalty” Parlor model, in which he has combined his favorite features from several guitars in his large collection to create a small-bodied and eminently affordable model.
The Ron Emory “Loyalty” Parlor guitar features the classic parlor body shape and is available in two versions—one with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and a vintage-style sunburst finish reminiscent of the 1930s; the other with an all-ash body, maple neck and butterscotch-stain finish resembling his ’52 Telecaster. Both versions feature quartersawn scalloped “X” bracing, elegant herringbone body binding and rosette, soft “V” neck profile and aged neck binding, rosewood fingerboard with diamond inlays and 12th-fret “Loyalty” logo, 19 large vintage-style frets, 1970s-style Fender headstock, three-ply pickguard, vintage-style rosewood “Viking" bridge with Graphtech® Nubone™ compensated saddle, and open-gear tuners.

Being a long-time TSOL fan, I was stoked to see that Ron got a signature series. I agree with the other reviews posted here that the playability, tone, and aesthetics of this guitar are amazing. I'm a bass player by trade, but this guitar has really gotten me back to the six-string and song-crafting. Kudos to Fender and congrats to Ron on an outstanding guitar.

What an amazing guitar. I never had the opportunity to play this guitar before ordering it from Guitar Center. I must say that the gamble has paid off! The tone and playability of this guitar are amazing. Each note rings and chords sound amazing.
I purchased the blonde finish, which is even more beautiful in person. The photos do not do it justice.
It is an amazing guitar at a fantastic price. I am beyond ecstatic to have this beauty in my arsenal.

This little guitar is extremely well built with a beautiful finish and excellent set up right out of the box (perfect neck relief, but I did lower the bass action a tad for my liking, but not bad at all right out of the box). The intonation is also great! I don't like phosphor bronze strings on it though. I put D'Addario Chromes (Flatwound) 12-52 as suggested by a guy on YouTube and I just love it! This guitar has a very nice mellow bass with crisp smooth highs, just very nice rich tones all around. Also, there's higher tension which really seems to help get more out of this guitar. The tuners are not the best but still pretty darn good. If someone happened to steal this guitar or whatever bad thing happened, I would buy another one in a heartbeat! I collect guitars, and I have some high end ones, however I play this little baby all the time since I've bought it. Great Job Fender! To tell you the truth, I have never liked Fender acoustic guitars until now. I will be trying more models.

I purchased the Ron Emory Parlor Guitar with Vintage Sunburst finish and it looks great!
It looks just like a vintage Blues Box and has a great tone.
Nicely set up right out of the box.
It's comfortable and very light weight.
My Wife said it looks just like my other guitar that cost 5 times the price of the Ron Emory.
Bottom line: I buy another one without hesitation.
