I love the rumble series, I had the 75 watt rumble of the old series and it weighted a ton!! (about 54 lbs) and I cannot tell you how happy I am that with this much power can come great lightness.
When I was doing gigs with the rumble 75 I wished there was some easier way to carry it, and then the new fender rumbles came out, I was so amazed I just had to be one of the first few hundred people to have it, and so to make up for the $340 I had to pay for it I sold my 75 rumble and never looked back, in fact I think is the best decision I've ever made in my music.
Not only does the new series manage to capture the old vintage style look, but they also have improved overdrive, and 1 new setting called "bright" although I haven't used it much, I'm pretty sure bassists that play in the higher strings can use this to their advantage. More power less hassle, improved electronics... What more could you want from a bass amp
THIS IS THE FUTURE!!!! (and so far is looking good, at last for these amps)

I upgraded to this combo after playing with a rumble 75 V2, and i must say it felt like an improvement in almost every field. You can get such a wide variety of tones that can fit any playing style and I'm still amazed at how light and easy to transport it is, making it the perfect bass amp for band practices and playing in small-medium sized gigs. Also, it sounds like beast! Rumble has a reputation of producing BALLSY amps and this guy certainly doesn't fall short. I just miss the BLEND feature of the overdrive channel of the older version, i can't understand why they removed it, but still, definitely worth the buy.

I actually downgraded from a 250 watt (TC Electronic) to this amp, not because the other amp wasn't great, but this one is outstanding! The weight savings and the sound this amp produces sold me. I have a Fender Precision Elite II, a G & L, a Squier, VMJ and a MM SUB Ray 4 and this amp makes them all sound great. It has pro features and is excellent as a practice and gig amp. I've owned a lot of combo amps over the years and only a Kustom 150 tube amp I owned, comes close to rivaling the sound I get from this Rumble 100.
