The CJ-290SCE jumbo cutaway projects a sound as big as Texas itself, with stylish flame maple back and sides, solid spruce top and maple neck.
Upgrades include a new tortoise shell pickguard and abalone rosette design, rosewood bridge with compensated Graphtech® Nubone™ saddle, black bridge pins with abalone dots, mother-of-pearl Fender logo headstock inlay, smaller (3 mm) dot fingerboard inlays and gold hardware. Features include scalloped X bracing, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, dual-action truss rod and Fishman® Presys™ pickup system with active onboard preamp, tuner, volume and tone controls and low-battery indicator light.

This guitar is constructed seriously, which emphasizes immediately is its great loudness, clean, crystalline and powerful, a very natural sound where the wood like person in charge is perceived. This guitar can work perfectly without amplifier and gives the stature. At the time of touching it is of most comfortable than I know since the width of the tuning fork and the thickness of the mast are excellent. I have had to lower the action because it came very high from factory, this takes control of the key that brings and sandpapering the chair of the bridge, I have left it perfect now, with the cords that bring goes to size. The amplifier is simple but a very correct and powerful sound makes its work perfectly, in addition it takes built-in tuner. In summary this guitar precious, very either is constructed, comfortable, is touched or and the main thing is that it sounds like a guitar of the high range, I have six and this is the one that better sounds. Reason why this guitar in a purchase excellent, better costs than other than triple it in price. If it lost it, would buy another equal one now.

I absolutely recommend this guitar for any serious guitar player. I purchased the CJ-290SCE a few months ago at Morris Music, Saint John, New Brunswick. I was with a friend who was looking to buy a new guitar and while he was searching I came across this beautiful instrument. I put Elixir: Nanoweb light strings on it and it sounds fantastic. The action was perfect for my style of playing, and the fret space was more the accommodating, as i used to play on a Yamaha. I find that it sounds great and you could easily drown out any other guitar without an amp, as the jumbo shape makes the guitar project its tone right at you. Great for group play and solo play the Cj-sce adds a great bass sound to whatever your playing, and is a fantastic guitar for finger picking. The price for this guitar is fair and definitely worth it.
