The original was a historically significant amp used on countless hits over the years, and the reissue ’65 Princeton® Reverb is easily versatile enough to go from the living room to the recording studio to the small gig. It has the vintage vibe that Fender® die-hards know and love, but the 12-watt ’65 Princeton Reverb isn’t only for those who played them 30 or 40 years ago - it’s for anybody who demands top-notch tube tone, naturally dynamic clean and overdriven tones, and unmistakable long-spring Fender reverb and tube vibrato.

This amplifier is not the first one I've owned but it will be the last one, because I love the sound from this little amplifier. In the beginning the Jensen speaker was not 100% perfect, but now I have no bad comments to that speaker. It sounds great.

Playing clean is already an amazing experience. The shimmering highs, the golden reverb, the tremolo. But my favourite sound is: Fender Strat (with a set of Kloppmann 60s pickups), select the bridge, a good cable into input 1, Volume 10, Treble 6, bass 4, reverb 1.5, play some rock...and never stop smiling. Taken by an Audio Technica AE-3000 microphone and straight without any EQ into a PA gives you so much dynamics, bass, mids and highs, which is without any competition. Just play and love this little marble.

As a kid I had a '69 Silverface, and much later on I had a '66 Blackface. As far as I'm concerned, the Princeton Reverb is Fender BEST SOUNDING amp EVER.
A few years ago, I sold my Blackface to one of my best friends. I needed money.
I finally bought the this one. As some people call the real ones were to expensive and not really looking good or the needed some work which can be expensive.
This is a really nice amp. I use it for some of the venues I play. Crank it on 6 and I'm set.
My U.S '52 Vintage Series Telecater and 60th Anniversary Telecaster sounds really great with this amp.
I use two Blackstar tube driven pedals with this amp. One set overdriven and the other set clean for a little more boost when I need it.
Another HOME RUN for Fender.
A good Amp in my stable.

I love this amp! The reverb on the amp is the most beautiful you can find! I was looking for another amp with more options with 2 channels but... My choiced was this one. It cost a lot, but I'm happy with the results and the sound (wich is the more important) I owned lost of Fender but this one os the one that suits my style perfectly. I love the 10 inch Jensen speaker, It sounds deep, warm and clear... it make my guitars sing more beautiful than ever... my quest for a amp is over. I hope it will live for long... The weight is perfect, the tremolo is a real bonus! It accepts stomp box very well in the front. So, if you play mostly in clubs and halls, and sometimes outside but most important, in a non- heavy metal band, this is a perfect amp.

My first tube amp and I still love that tube reverb tone. If you've got some room to make some noise I'd go for the Deluxe Reverb instead though.

This is my all time favorite amp. I used to own an original silverface Princeton Reverb as a kid. I like this reissue better. The only problem is, the speaker is shrill and harsh. I eventually changed the speaker in mine to an Eminence Delta Demon and now it's perfect. Great tone. Great reverb. Great tremolo.

As a Fender amp junkie, and the owner of an original 66' Princeton, I was curious to see how the reissue stacked up to an original.
I can honestly say, when I a/b'd mine with the RI, I was very impressed with the 65 Princeton Reverb..very close to the real deal, and a heck of a lot cheaper than an original..if you can find one of course!...nice job Fender!
