Fantastic. There's just so much to say about this guitar. The road worn neck has a great feel to it and makes it extremely comfortable to play. The Texas Special pickups are definitely worth mentioning and they really add to the guitar. It handles every genre extremely well but really excels in blues and classic rock. This strat is versatile, playable, and very well made. I would agree with twistabister and say this Mexican strat is up to par with the American strats.

Great guitar.. Not over the top Relic'd, very tastefully done.. Needed a little tweaking out of the box but after I put 10s on it (came with 9s), lowered the action this guitar was a great buy.. The Texas Special pickups are pretty hot, but they have that unmistakeable quack we all love about Strats.. The tuners on High E and B on the guitar I got aren't that great, it takes a half turn to change pitch, I'll be swapping them out anyway so I'm not too upset, also, the frets stick out of the neck edge just a tad too much for my liking but this may change over time as it acclimates to the humidity in my house .. I have all American Strats, dating back 30+ years and this Mexican Strat is up to par with them.. My new favorite axe!
