My Kinda Classic

I love this guitar..... Sure, out of the box(or Deluxe gig bag) it does have a few(very few!) things that could have been better. Thankfully, as almost all tele players will tell you, they evolve into truly great instruments and then become yours. For me, the Alpha toggle switch was immediately replaced and brass barrel saddles were added. Unlike Micawber999, the tuning machines were so stable they have remained. The overall quality of the wood on this instrument is the kicker here.... The ash body is resonant as is the beautifully finished and comfortable maple neck.
This is a REALLY GREAT basic model that can be 'modded' into a true Clasic... Looks fantastic, plays amazing, sounds just like a great tele should. Highly recomended!....

Ridiculously good Tele!

I have owned my 50's tele, since 2003 and have played her to death!! she was actually born in 1998 and has never failed me. i did change the tuners to the american '52 reissue spec, as the original tuners were a little flimsy. the neck, and frets are flawless, as is the transparent white finish, or should i say were flawless, as she is now road worn. This guitar as typical of a Tele, in the right hands can do any style of music that you want. The tone and playability are fantastic, and i have never, had any performance, or repair issues. If you need a Tele for the road, or just want an excellent Tele, without dropping around $2000.00 this is the way to go, buy one you will be glad you did!!
