The Cabronita Telecaster® Thinline guitar combines Fender’s striking Cabronita styling with traditional lightweight thinline design. With its semi-hollow ash body (semi-hollow alder on 2-Color Sunburst and Shoreline Gold) with f-hole and dual Fideli’Tron™ humbucking pickups, it’s a truly distinctive and powerful take on Fender’s first electric guitar.
Other features include a modern “C”-shaped maple neck with urethane finish, 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and black-dot inlays, three-way toggle pickup switching, single-ply pickguard (black on White Blonde and 2-Color Sunburst models; white on Shoreline Gold model), single knurled-chrome master volume control and vintage-style string-through-body Stratocaster® hard-tail bridge.

What a great guitar. I was surprise when I first got it. I thought I was purchasing a standard mexican tele thinline. It was my mistake (marked the wrong box when ordering online). I tried it anyway and was better pleased with the tone and playability of this product more than the standard american tele thinline. I have had all of them, american strat, tele, mexican blacktops, and some variations (specials). This is my favorite. Love the sound. I didn't mind the extra $300 over its mexican counterparts. In my opinion it is a superior piece of work.

Tonally superior to its solid body version; however not quite worth the extra money. Surprisingly wide variety of tones despite a having a single knob and a 3 way switch. Quality of the one I played was exceptional, much better then that of the standard mexican tele. I recommend the gold one which looks best in real life in my opinion.
I got 99% value and this is the one........
Shoreline Gold, shimmering online, out-glistening anything in the shop but, bless them, they went that extra mile and ordered one from Fender GBI. Price-matching with a competitor meant I could add a new value Fender Tweed case...try it....complements and compliments this beauty beyond words. The guitar seems to be fast asleep, conserving energy, wrapped in orange fur, awaiting daylight so that it can release sound to empty or fill a room.
Quick tune up and away you go immediately. Simplicity! Where have you been all my life? Three clicks and one spin, this is even simpler and more rewarding than playing a P-bass! Honestly folks, there is a tendency to balloon praise for any item you have but this is an absolute belter of a plank. A fulsome yet rewarding neck (modern C verging towards a few Custom Shop Nocasters I've fondled!) gives you the confidence to imagine that headband round your neck and bash into Brown Sugar's opening anthem. The balance is there as you switch between treble, middle and neck with no sharp jumps or falls in volume. You need to let this baby breath and ring when you play chords: scream and wiggle when attacking from above the 12th fret.
Usually I finance my next guitar by selling my last one...this is a game changer. It is staying. I have adopted, not fostered. It is my precious!
What about the 1%? Fender - line the bridge up to the pole pieces.....now...go on! Be a good Corporation!
Looks like Marilyn Munro spread out on golden sheets
Sounds like Marilyn Manson ordering drive through chilli
A neck beyond the price band.
Automorphs fingers into the gnarled world of Keith Richards.
Not for heavy metal shredders
Bridge:pole alignment (minor but worth investing in a new 'US' bridge to solve)
Not for heavy metal shredders

Out of the box (from the dealer via Fed-Ex) the guitar was in tune! Brought it to a gig the night I received it and WOW! Such a great looking guitar, played so nice and SOUNDED GREAT!!!! My band mates couldn't complement the sound enough. Never thought it would make its way into my repertoire of guitars that I gig with but it has. Such great tone in all 3 positions, works well with the styles of music I play. Great for Jazz, rockabilly, rock and country. Great twang for chickin' pickin' too!
