Nobody makes the perfect amp, but this one is so close. It just needs separate reverb that can be added to everything with its own depth knob. Then replace the chorus+reverb with chorus+delay and the delay+reverb with flange+delay. Compression upfront with a depth knob would be nice also.
I was forced to rate the sound but I haven't heard it. I haven't bought one because of the stupid design issues mentioned above. I'd even pay more to get a new version with those features.
The clean channel is very nice and the FX features are ok, but change the sound to British or Metal and play more than one string at a time and the amp sound horrible! It is possible I got a lemon, sure, but I don't think so. Very disappointed. I will bring it in to a fender repair shop to have it looked at to see if something is wrong with the amp before I throw it out the window!
