American Special Tele- Texas PU

(5.0)

I am 62 years old. I've been playing guitar-bass since I was 15. I have had many guitars. Ric's, Heritage's, Gibsons, Fenders, (I've had 12 Fenders that I can remember, fender strats, basses, teles) and this is one of the best guitars I've owned. This is the 6th Tele I've owned and I gotta say it's one of the nicest I've played. The last one I had was a cherry sunburst Deluxe and I liked the looks of it but not the sound. I had a blonde one that lives in France now and a black one that's in the UK. In 2006 I bought many guitars to sell.... This one is a keeper. It's a 2010 White/Black with Texas pickups on it. This one will not be sold. I just want to tell you Fender Boys.. Thanks!!!!

Fender Am. Special Telecaster

This guitar has got to be one of the greatest guitars I've ever played. It can cover such a wide range of tones, especially considering how simple it's setup is. In addition to this, it is really a looker, like it can look good on anyone. Plus its so durrable, like I've banged it so many times and the worst I've ever done is one knick on the body that you can hardly see anyway. And then when pluged into a tube amp like a Pro Junior, the tone sounds so amazing. I would honestly reccomend this guitar to anyone.

Olympic White Am Spec Tele

Great guitar. Lovely finish, great tone which sometimes needs a bit of "fattening up". Wide neck for those with sausage fingers.
It is a quality item and can be used from anything to Home Practice, Open Mics, and gigging at any level. Get an Amp that will help fatten the sound if you play Rock.
I bought mine new but they are also great value second-hand.

Special Tele - Blond and Maple

(5.0)
cashmaccoll on February 19, 2013
Semi-Professional Classic Rock

I bought this Tele used at a Pawn Shop. What a great find. This Tele is well worth the money. It's American and comes with a gig bag to help keep the cost down. The Bridge is 3 brass saddles which are great for the old Spank sound. The Texas Special PU's sound wonderful. I got the blond with a maple neck. The blond finish looks a bit yellowed so I replaced the black guard with a white one. My Tele now looks like one about 40 years old. What a great Guitar!

A Real American Tele at a Great Price

(4.0)

Love this guitar. Great features including jumbo frets, greasebucket circuit and beautiful nitro finish. The Texas special pickups sound amazing. Fender pretty much nailed it with this guitar! Sreet price is well under a thousand dollars which I think makes it an amazing value. All in all a classic Tele that plays and sounds as good as it looks.
