Using the Fender® Super Champ™ X2 with Fender® FUSE™
The Fender® Super Champ™ X2 amplifier is compatible with Fender FUSE version 2.5 and later.  The Fender FUSE application allows far greater editing capabilities than what is provided on the amp itself.  Controls such as Mid EQ, Bias, Sag, and Noise Gate settings can only be accessed using Fender FUSE.  In addition, the Fender FUSE application enables the user to upload and download custom Super Champ X2 Presets from the Fender FUSE Community.

Working with Presets, Voices, and FX Settings

The Super Champ X2 uses a "Voice" structure that differs fromt the "Preset" structure used by other Fender FUSE compatible amps.  In the case of the SCX2, a Voice consists of an amplifier model (Fender® 59 Bassman, British 60's, etc.), it's settings (Volume, EQ, etc.), and, if applicable, a Stompbox effect.  These settings can be saved to one of the 16 Voice slots on the amp by clicking the "Save CH2 Voice" button, selecting a slot to save it to, and clicking OK.  It's important to remember that Channel 1 on the amp is a dedicated clean channel and Voices cannot be saved to it.

FX settings consist of any pedal and rack effects that are inserted before or after the amp model excluding Stompbox effects. For instance,  an FX setting can include a tremolo, a reverb, a delay effect, or a combination of the three.  FX settings can be saved to one of the 15 amplifier slots by clicking the Save Effects button in Fender FUSE.  It's important to note that the FX settings are saved and operate independently of the Voice settings.

A Preset is a combination of a Voice and an FX setting.  Presets can be created by using the Save Preset As function found in Main Menu > File. The resulting Preset will then appear in the Computer tab of the Media Library.  From there the Preset can be uploaded to the Fender FUSE Community.  It will remain the Media Library for loading at a later date.

NOTE: Presets created with Fender FUSE are only accessible as a complete Preset structure and loadable when the SCX2 is connected to Fender FUSE. When not connected to Fender FUSE, the amp will revert back to it's internal settings (i.e. Voice and F/X).
