Im a beginner and i think this one does a good job and is perfect to learn playing guitar. Together with the amp it works it out quite nice, I'm really satisfied.
I had moved and I was waiting for my gear to arrive. So I went out got this package deal. I was just thinking that for when I got my gear I would give this tele away. I sat down with this Tele and started playing for the first time and was amazed. felt great. The pickups are nice for what I paid for. I own a 65 Tele and i was not sure if this one I just got would even come close. It is one of my guitars that I play more than the other Fenders. Nice neck, great finish on the body. This Tele is a sunburst. Over all great quality for what I paid for. The amp that came with the package was not that great, good for a person just starting of. I have a Fender Twin tube amp and when it got to where I had moved, I was amazed with the sound and tone of this Tele. I feel this was a great bang for your dollar investment overall. I have been playing for 42 years now, and have seen a lot of changes with this Squier line. This is nice to see and play. I have done some live work with this Tele and just love it. Hope this helps. Play on Fender fans, yours truly Dragon Player. Live well.

I was amazed when I played this Telecaster at the store. It has everything you want from one too. The 22 frets are finished very well on the fret board sides and the pickups are better to give that distinct Telecaster pop and quack that only a Tele can. Taking a closer look the details are there too. The pair of string guides and the grommets on the backside for the strings to go through the body. You get a skunk stripe on the back of the neck for the truss rod that follows through to the opening on the headstock. The gold Squier logo sets this Telecaster apart from the other Affinity Tele's. It truly is a step up from the 21 fret model. It's make a nice addition to my growing Fender family.

I bought this package to carry with me in a big truck as I am a over the road driver. I wanted something that I would not be to upset if it get some abuse. I have 2 mia guitars I would not want to get torn up. I was really surprised in this guitar, I had a Squier affinity tele before and it had the strings going through the bridge unlike this new one where they go through the body. The neck pick up is actually mounted on the pick guard, and the output jack plate is not a square piece of plastic but round metal like a normal tele, it just looks more like my American special tele. The sound is great and the finish is good. The amp is not bad, just wish it had reverb. I use a mustang mini in my truck so that takes care of that. I bought this kit at a GC - it must have been a return I got a real good deal. I paid $180 for the kit the only thing missing was the tuner. One of the best things about being a trucker is the places I get to go, so I was able to buy a tuner as well as other Fender goodies on a visit to the Fender visitor center and factory tour, a must see place for a true Fender fan.
