Fender’s CF-100CE Folk acoustic has a comfortable cutaway and wider string spacing that makes it ideal for beginners and flatpickers, but don’t be fooled by its smaller size - it boasts enough richly resonant projection and dynamics to fill a room.
Features include a spruce top with quartersawn X bracing, mahogany back and sides, body binding and mother-of-pearl acrylic rosette, mahogany neck with dual-action truss rod, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with smaller dot inlays (3 mm), all-solid rosewood bridge with compensated Graphtech® Nubone™ saddle and white pins, rosewood headstock veneer, smooth satin finish and Fishman® preamp with built-in tuner.

I own a Takamine and I am an enthusiastic learner. I bought this Fender as it was a little smaller, it is as light as a feather and the neck is slightly less chunky than the Takamine and slightly shorter.
The action off the shelf is low already and it is extremely easy to play. I am intending to learn to fingerpick on this guitar and learn some of the more difficult chords.
The guitar itself is loud and has a good tone unplugged and through a Roland Microcube it sounds the business.
This guitar is for me an excellent second guitar, and I have not put it down since i got it on Friday.

This guitar does not have wider string spacing. It sounds dull. The 14th and 15th fret are the same height at the high e string so when you pluck the 14th fret it doesn't ring out. I ordered this guitar through Guitar Center from fender, brand new.

I have owned this guitar for 3 weeks now. I am an avid musician and bought this on a whim to replace a broken acoustic-electric. I have been playing for 14+ years, and this guitar is everything I need. Compact, lightweight, great full tone, great playability and amazing electronics and overall construction for the price. This is now my go-to acoustic. Thank you, Fender!! :)
