Several of my bandmates bought me this for my birthday. The usual 9v power supply doesnt work with this. I had to get a special one for it. Kind of a bummer.....Full price for the amp and the special adaptor is the same cost as a Frontman 25R.
Clean channel is much quieter than the overdrive....I use a boss compressor to boost the clean volume.
This amp is gorgeous....the leather handle is a excellent touch.
I use these for camping and motel stays. Sounds like a AM Radio which makes me smile....Very Kitchy but I think that is cool.
The look of the amp is very retro

I have used this amp for about two days now and I have to say it's pretty fun to have. It's small and very portable. The sound is pretty good even though it gets fairly quiet when played clean. The one thing that this amp should have came with is a cord to plug it into the wall because the 9v battery only lasts for about a day or two. Luckily, I found a cord for it in my house. Overall, it's a great little amp for $58.

This little amp is so cool! It is nice and loud with great tone. The only part that isn't so great is that if you wanted to play clean, it gets real quiet.

Anywhere I go and I feel that I want to play or make music, I got it made. I bought a Fender Mini Strat (black) and Mini Twin I know will fit in any area. Ex. Park, Camping, in my car, etc. The Mini Twin sound like a jewel. If you play it clean and with the gain, it will practically duplicates your power, that the 1 WATT sure sound a lot. Working the Strat's switch combinations and Vol/Tone with the Vol/Tone-Gain of the Mini Twin, I can get the sounds I practice with and without no electical cable/connection to worry about. It's good! I consider that if you are a musician or play good, this set up is ideal. I will recommend the Mini Twin for practicing.
