I have been playing Telecasters for about 25 years. I recently began playing more be-bop and rockabilly style music in the band I'm currently in. I picked up a hollow body guitar with humbuckers and fell in love with the sound but not the playability. The Classic Player Tele Thinline was the closest thing I could find to mimic the look and sound of the hollow body while still maintaining the feel of a Tele. I wanted the 4 controls for tone and volume and I preferred to have a switch up top and an F-hole. This has it all. A very unique guitar. I had a trem-king tremolo system installed and re-wired the pickups for series/parallel with 500K pots. What a great sounding guitar. From jazz to rockabilly to all out chicken pickin' it does it all very well. I didn't have to alter my playing style to get the deep rich jazzy sounds combined with the snappy Tele tones I was looking for.
