I bought my little Tele used sadly from a musician who was battling addictions. I am a sucker for ANYTHING Telecaster. This guitar is Antique-Burst in color. Paint was flawless, I really like the bridge and saddles. It's my only rosewood fretboard Tele. I have 6 Telecasters, It has it's own voice, every Tele I have has it's own tone. The neck pickup is very warm and fluid like, The bridge pickup is very mid-rangey. Doesn't sound like any of my others. If it was my only Tele, I would put the 52 re-issue pickups in it. This guitar has it's own nitch in my collection. It hadn't been used too much. The previous owner put the really expensive locking Fender Tuners on it. The work very well, for me they are overkill for a Tele without a bigsby, but that's how I bought it. I own and gig with Fenders and Squiers, and do so proudly.
For you parents out there looking for an instrument for your kids. This guitar is good enough to learn on, and eventually play in bands with. Granted the woods are not super flashy with flame maple, but they use good quality wood, it has a great tone, and the quality is so good the guitar won't fall apart in a year. I wish I had gotten one of these back in the 70's. If you buy one for your kids and they turn into monster players, they WILL thank you for this instrument

This is a great tele for the money. The build quality is excellent overall and it feels super solid. The neck is a medium C, which is comfy and neither too fat nor too thin. The frets are nicely finished with no sharp ends. The hardware could be better, especially the tuners and the three-way switch, which both feel lightly subpar, although they are easily changeable. A vintage style bridge, or at least one with vintage holes, would also be nice. I like the bridge pickup a lot. I’d say it’s pretty hot and quite a bit raunchier than my friends American std (90s), which I think a tele bridge pup should sound like. The neck pickup maybe lacks a bit of clarity but still sounds good, especially through a bright amp. This guitar has seen me through numerous gigs and never let me down and I like it a lot. Playing it side by side with the American tele the only differences you’ll notice are the hardware and the quality of the pickups. A good buy for players on a budget.

After many years of not playing, it was this guitar that got me back into it. I've always loved Teles and had owned a 60's model 30 odd years ago so when starting up again this was a no brainer. For a guitar of its price it's well built, sturdy, looks good (mine is an antique burst) and plays well. A couple of years after buying this I bought an American Standard Tele yet I still find myself going back to this guitar. It is well balanced and the fingerboard came with remarkably good frets for a guitar of the price. The only thing to bear in mind is that the pick ups are not as good as those on a higher budget Fender and comparing the bridge pick up on this guitar to my Fender this guitar sounds scratchier, BUT I like this! This guitar is a keeper make no mistake. Probably the best value for money guitar I've ever bought!
