The rough-and-tumble Classic Vibe Stratocaster® ’60s evokes that musically adventurous decade, with a few modern features added. The alder body has a Three-color Sunburst finish; the ’60s-era vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a rosewood Fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5” radius. The thick tone comes from the alnico V single-coil pickups-quick attack with a bit more midrange force and a knockout bridge pickup. Custom staggered polepieces provide improved string-to-string balance. This versatile guitar is now available in a left-handed model.

WOW - That's all I can say about the Classic Vibe 60's Strat. First of all it's a Lefty, so I can have one! Next it sounds absolutely fantastic, so good in fact that I still find it hard to believe it doesn't cost a whole lot more. I was lucky enough to find my local Guitar emporium had a lefty in stock so for once I was able to test-drive one before buying (a rare treat for me). You just can't beat this guitar for value for money and I would have no problem using this to play live. Every other budget model that I've owned has immediately had its guts replaced with true USA quality parts but this usually means cutting away some of the wood to make the bigger pots and switch fit. However with the Classic Vibes I really do believe that I'm going to just enjoy playing them exactly as they are....stock! And they are Tone Monsters! The power from the stock pickups is great and I have to say the neck and frets on mine were perfect when I took it out of the box - I just plugged it in and hit those strings!
You owe it to yourself to give the Classic Vibe range a test-drive! You'll be glad you did.
