Classic Vibe Stratocaster® '60s

Model : 030301
The rough-and-tumble Classic Vibe Stratocaster® '60s evokes that musically adventurous decade, with a few modern features added. The alder body has a Three-Color Sunburst or Candy Apple Red finish; the '60s-era vintage-tint gloss-maple neck has a rosewood Fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and a modern 9.5" radius. The thick tone comes from the alnico V single-coil pickups--quick attack with a bit more midrange force and a knockout bridge pickup. Custom staggered polepieces provide improved string-to-string balance.

Stunningly great guitar

My first guitar was a Squier Tele Custom, and after that guitar I really wanted a strat. I tried out every strat I could find. I found that this Squier felt right, the moment I touched it. It just feels so great and plays really well. Comparing to Mexican models and even the lower priced (highway one) American models, this one was not only by far the cheapest, but honestly the better guitar. And she is beautiful too ;)

After testing, I chose this guitar, and I never regretted it for a second. In fact, the past year I played a Fernandes Tele for the most part, but since a few months I'm back to playing my Squier, and I forgot how absolutely great it was. I'm using it through a Fender Deluxe Reverb RI tube amp. Just fell in love all over again.

Have to say that I changed the pickups to GFS Boston Blues pups. There not necessarily better, just different. The low price isn't magic by the way. This guitar has a skinny tremolo block, small pots, and kind of a cheap switch. But no complaint from me about these parts. They haven't failed me yet. Another thing that keeps surprising me is that this guitar stays in TUNE. Better than any guitar I've owned. It stays in tune even when travelled in a bag or case and with using the tremolo.

So that's about it. A very VERY good guitar. Not even 'for the money'. Just a great guitar. With no 'high-end-nonsense'. This guitar has some cheap parts, but who cares. Apparently it all doesn't matter. If you find that this guitar sounds like shit, you should just practice more!

I'll be definitely buying another Classic Vibe guitar! Or the vintage modified telecaster special.. nice one too! Check it out!

Hi. For those of you who need a good guitar that doesn't cost so much, this is the guitar for you. i bought one two years ago and i do not regret it. Very good guitar for people who have played guitar for about three years. The Squier Classic Vibe 60´s Stratocaster has good sound, nice pickups, and it its simple most one of the best Stratocaster of Squier by Fender. It think it's as good as Fender Mexican Stratocasters. Believe me, you will not be dissatisfied

Made a good choice

Hi, I was bought my Squier for my 60th birthday, a present from my Wife. I have always messed about on guitars for years but never really learning anything. Since having the strat, I have enjoyed playing it so much I have seriously started to play more and learn. It is so easy to play, even my humble skills sound good ( I now have a Marshall 50w and Zoom G1XN pedal ). The only difference I can assertain is that the tremelo bar isnt as effective as on a Fender Strat, but i dont use it much anyways.. The quality and feel is amazing and makes me feel confident to get more out of it.. Now bought myself a Yamaha FG700s accoustic to strengthen my fingers and hone my learning. I shall never be "Clapton", but I shall damm well try lol

Good looking good guitar

I just got my Classic Vibe 60s Strat a few days ago. I brought it to a gig last night and it played beautifully!
I also own a John Mayer Strat and this Squier has almost the same specs as the Mayer Strat (especially neck radius and looks).
This guitar is a great option if you are a fan of John Mayer and can't afford the 'real thing' - or if you are looking for a good back-up guitar!

MONEY WELL SPENT

I bought this guitar in 2009. It's my guitar of choice when it comes to gigs and not only because of its sentimental value.

This guitar has the best value for money in the market. It's very well built and it has quality materials. The finish and tone catch the 60's vibe, this guitar delivers.

It's a perfect beginner guitar unless you're seriously into modern metal, and even if you are an amateur and you are looking for your first Strat, you might have just found what you were looking for. Fellow guitarists are astonished when they realize it's actually a Squier I'm playing.

Easy to play, versatile, reliable, eye-catching...that's what makes a guitar a Fender Stratocaster, right?

Perfect for classic tone at low price

This guitar has good action and solid build. The tone is classic. Though inexpensive, there's nothing on this guitar that seems cheap. It would be a fantastic guitar for a beginner because it is so easy to play and it sounds so good. I have more expensive guitars, but I often play this one because it is just fun to play.

Not much to say. It is a very good guitar, not only for the price, but compared to much more expensive guitars also. I have one and it's seriously my favorite guitar of every guitar I've ever played.
