This bass is simply put, the best Squier instrument I have ever seen/played. It looks wonderful and it plays even better. The finish on both the body and the neck is fantastic: lots of wood here, very good overall quality and gorgeous painting. The white binding and pearloid blocks on the neck look beautiful and classy, but more important on a bass is fast/smooth playability (and, as one would expect, the slim Jazz neck really delivers it). Add all that to the very convincing sound of the Duncan designed single coil pickups and what you get is a versatile bass that sounds great, looks terrific and is fast and very easy to play. And the price? There is no better value: for beginners at bass, you can call this an instrument worth of the Jazz Bass legacy; for the more experienced players that don't want to spend a lot on a solid instrument, this is an excellent choice; for all others, this bass works as an amazing practice/backup instrument too. If you don't mind the Squier logo on the headstock, there is no better deal. Try this bass. You won't regret it!
