Really good price. I rated the playability and the tone lower because it had a lot of fretbuzz and humming from the bridge pickup (due to poor cavity shielding) at first but after a couple of hours with the soldering iron and adjusting the neck with a new set of strings it plays like a champ. The bottom line: good product that can be excellent with a little work.

I bought this guitar in March this year. I have been playing rythm guitar for almost 40 years interspersed with some bass playing. Decided I needed a bass guitar and bought this one on the advice of the salesman in Merchant City Music, Glasgow. It is quite simply one of the best guitars I have had the pleasure of playing. Great playability and the tone options are amazing. This guitar can cope with any musical style you throw at it. Well done Fender.

I'm a Record Producer, Bassist and Guitarist from Atlanta, GA. I've shared the stage with Mastodon. Troy is an amazing musician, he's also a quality person. He plays BASS with conviction. I had no idea Troy and Squier were doing business until just now. I trust Troy, so I trust Squier Basses. Rock On and Live Long!
