A great deal. This guitar has an 8k bridge pickup and 7k rhythm pickup, which is a perfect balance for what I like to do with it, play metallic rockin' solos. It looks and feels old, of course, but the extra oomph makes it great for modern-style tube amp distortion soloing, with a little extra over a stock vintage Tele in all three switch positions. I usually switch my Teles to Broadcaster/Nocaster style wiring and change the neck screws to machine screws with inserts, but this one sounds so great in stock form, that I'm going to leave it. Love not having to worry about dinging it. Highly recommended, especially if you don't want to risk taking your real vintage Tele to gigs!

I use this guitar to do all sorts of styles. I frequently retune it to play in Open tunings as well. Holds tunings very well and the addition of that humbucker really makes a difference. I also really love the worn neck - smooth. Great job, Fender!
