2011 Deluxe Roadhouse Strat

(5.0)
Art41 on February 24, 2013
Semi-Professional Blues Classic Rock

This guitar has awesome tone! The Texas Specials give this guitar all the mojo you could ask for. Mine is a 2011 model with the 3 tone burst finish and it looks great! The tinted neck gives it the look of a vintage guitar. Of course it is very well made as you can expect from Fender... everything fits as it should and the playability of the guitar is incredible. This guitar screams! You can get great sounding blues/classic rock tones with this guitar. If you're looking for tones like SRV or old Deep Purple... this IS your guitar. On top of that... for the price, this guitar is hard to beat!

1999 Roadhouse Strat

(5.0)
jeffpblues on February 19, 2013
Semi-Professional Blues Rock Classic Rock

I've had a 1999 American Roadhouse Strat since it was brand new in 1999. Back then its price was $1149. It is seafoam green with a white pearloid pickgaurd. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard. "C" shaped neck with what is probably a 9.5" radius. Like the newer version, it has 3 Texas Special single coils. The tremolo is a 2 point.

This has been my primary, go-to guitar since I first bought it. I can beat the <bleep> out of the tremolo bar and it keeps tune extremely well. The pickups have great sizzle, and sound fantastic through any amp, at any volume level. And adding a little pedal distortion (Tube Screamer or Bad Monkey) is incredible. The guitar plays wonderfully!
