Plays amazing. Sounds amazing. Looks amazing. After years of playing an active style bass, the 50s precision is exactly what I needed. You won't be disappointed.

This bass produces exactly what you'd expect from it...classic P-Bass tone! The maple neck is well made and feels solid and smooth to the touch. Frets are nicely done. The body is light and well finished. Not much in the way of "features" on this bass but that's the beauty of the P-Bass. One volume, one tone and your fingers/pick give you all the sounds you need. The bass has a great hollow P-Bass tone that brings you back to the original P-basses...you know, the sound that keeps drawing you to pick up a P-Bass! Using a pick with the tone knob up full offers great rock tones with plenty of clarity, nice bottom end and plenty of grit. Plucked fingerstyle with the tone knob rolled off and you'll be in old school blues/R&B/country heaven! Take a look at the price tag and you'll KNOW you're in heaven! For the money, you can't beat it. Highly recommended. I own one and bought another for a friend as a graduation gift...it almost stayed with me instead!
