This is the perfect bass for people just starting out, it has everything you need! Very playable and great price! This bass is everything you need! Gets you used to the instrument and sounds great! Only issue with it is that the paint on it chips easily, but hey! The scratches and chips give it character!

Squire rocks

I have had my share of lower end instruments. This Bass has been in my aresnal of instruments since day one and it will always remain. It plays as well as my old '71 Jazz did and has great tone. The amp was a bit small which I traded in for a 90 watt fender (which is used by many bass players coming to play or record with me over their own amps).

my squire guitar is ok, but this bass is awesome. made in mexico, not china, just like my roland fender strat. highly recommended as it will hang with much more expensive basses
