How do I record from my Fender® FUSE™-compatible amp/device into my computer?

While your Fender® FUSE™-compatible amp/device can output audio through USB, it cannot receive audio input through USB*. Therefore, output from any audio app, including AmpliTube Fender LE, must be handled by an external source. This source can be your computer's soundcard or audio interface and speakers. In order to configure the driver and audio settings for AmpliTube Fender LE please follow these step-by-step instructions.

*Fender G-DEC® 3 amps are capable of both audio input and output through USB. Therefore, G-DEC 3 series amps can be used for both the input and output device for use with Windows or Mac recording software packages.

For Windows computers:

1. Download and install the Fender ASIO driver here: Fender Universal ASIO Driver
2. Launch AmpliTube Fender LE/SE and then open the Audio Setup menu found under "Settings."

During the redeeming of your AmpliTube Fender LE/SE software, IK Multimedia will upgrade you to Amplitube 3. This is due to AmpliTube being updated and supported with new features including 64-bit support, AAX support, and much more. Once downloaded and installed you can then proceed to following the steps of Authorization Manager and register Amplitube 3 using the AmpliTube Fender LE/SE serial # you redeemed.

Complete the process as instructed and the Fender LE/SE gear should then be appearing for you. If for any reason you are not seeing the Fender gear, please follow the quick steps here:

Make sure the Mustang Amplifier is enabled as the input. It may be necessary to disable all outputs except the one you wish to use. It may take some experimenting to find the one that works best. NOTE: Click on the "+" box to expand each item.
