The new Fender Acoustasonic™ 150 is perfect for the acoustic guitarist who needs a light, loud, versatile and flexible amp loaded with tonal innovations and useful features.
The Acoustasonic 150 packs full acoustic resonance and crystal clarity into a lightweight (only 22.5 lbs.) amp with a new ultra-efficient 150-watt (2x75) stereo power amp, dual 8” foam-surround low-frequency drivers and high-frequency tweeter. Its new Voicing control lets any guitar simulate the tonality of parlor, dreadnought and jumbo acoustics, or Voicing can be turned off for pure amp output response. For acoustic players who double on electric guitar, the Voicing control also has Blackface, tweed and British amp settings, which makes a second amp just for electric guitar unnecessary.
Other features include instrument and microphone channels with independent EQ and effects controls; new feedback elimination control with on/off switch for each channel; patented String Dynamics™ control that tames harsh treble notes; effects including reverb, delay, chorus, Vibratone, and more; XLR line out with level control and ground lift; stereo effects loop; USB connector for digital recording output (and possible future firmware updates); strong five-ply plywood construction and optional two-button effects select footswitch.

I bought this amp for my acoustics but I ended up using it for both my acoustics and electrics. Seen reviews from people that said it sounded bad with an electric guitar, but I like it. sounds great to me and everyone that hears me play always like it as well. I would buy it again if something happened to it. I have owned this one for about a year and a half and have had no trouble with it at all. Very glad I bought it!

I am using the Acoustasonic 150 with a Taylor T-5Z guitar. You could say that these are two of a kind - like a pair of Swiss army knives - but they do the job for me with ease. Rather than just doing a lot of things "just OK", they have a precision about them that brings a lot of joy to my playing. The tone on the amp complements the guitar very nicely, and vice versa. I get exactly the tone I need and want. I play rhythm guitar with a big band, accompany a female singer with a trio, help a young garage band next door, and play for my grandkids. One amp, one guitar.
I've used the amp with the Taylor, an Ovation, a classic Gibson ES and a Heritage 575. I've owned Fender, Roland, and Henricksen amps over the years, and have been able to free up a lot of room (and some $$$) by moving them along.
I've been playing for over 50 years, and I think I have found my ideal combo for a long, long time.
Gotta put a plug in here for Bananas At Large in San Rafael CA, and Alan Rosen and Rik Elsweit, for taking the time to help me with some pretty hard decisions. Great people, great instruments.

Fender is simply the main stay of a musician's ability to demonstrate his or her own music prowess to the world. I own a Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe and a Fender ACOUSTASONIC™ 150 COMBO amp that lets me enjoy my acoustic guitar with the electric from a switch all in one amp, with amazing tech and pure knowledge.

I have been playing guitar and singing for over 40 years. For the last 15 years I have performed Irish Pub songs in Pub settings and have found the Acoustasonic 150 the perfect pub amp. It has enough power for the small to medium venues; it is light and compact but has a bigger than life sound. Its effects are solid and the voice channel is clear and stable. Everything a working performer would want or need in this venue size. I purchased it about a month ago and so far I am very pleased. As with my other Fender products I have come to expect the very best and was not disappointed with the Acoustasonic 150. Slainte ! T'is himself and none other,..... Rick

The title says it all ...
I've owned my Acoustasonic 150 for a year now ... it is my go-to combo for my solo acoustic performances. I play lots of different types of venues and more often than not, a PA system would be overkill for what was actually needed. My Fender changed all that. Not only has it reduced how much weight I'm carrying to a gig (at only 22 lbs.) - it has also served in larger places where I did not expect it to be enough. Powerful, versatile, convenient, portable ... I waited a year to chime in on this amp because everything sounds & looks great when it's new - but after a year with a minimum of 2 - 3 gigs a week, this amp sounds just as excellent as the first time I used her.
Besides the usual singer/songwriter performances (using a microphone & a jumbo acoustic/electric guitar) - I have also used this amp for electric work and for classical guitar performances. A very clean sound - and a testimony to the reputation of the Fender company.
Like I said at the beginning ... worth ... every ... penny.
