Die American Vintage Series umfasst eine völlig neue Auswahl zeitgenössischer Gitarrenmodelle, die die Geschichte und das Erbe von Fender hautnah zu neuem Leben erwecken. Sie bewahren das Erbe einer innovativen US-amerikanischen Gitarrenschmiede und zeigen so deutlich wie noch nie, dass Fender nicht nur kompetent in die Zukunft schreitet, sondern sich auch seiner Wurzeln bewusst ist.

Die Modelle der American Vintage Series gehören schon seit Langem zu den meistverkauftesten Gitarren aus dem Hause Fender (die Einführung der Serie in den 1980er Jahren war das erste Lebenszeichen von Fender nach dem Ende der CBS-Ära). Heute hat Fender reinen Tisch gemacht und ebnet den Weg für eine neue American Vintage Serie mit neuen Features, neuen Spezifikationen und höchster Detailtreue. Anstatt die alten Modelle der Serie einfach durch andere zu ersetzen, haben wir einfach gleich das gesamte Vintage-Reissue-Konzept auf den Kopf gestellt. So kommen wieder die ursprünglichen Gusswerkzeuge zum Einsatz sowie neu abgestimmte Pickups, neuformulierte zeitgenössische Farben und vieles mehr. Als Vorlage dienten echte Vintage-Schätze, die wir ausfindig gemacht haben, um die größtmögliche Authentizität sicherzustellen. Wir haben unsere Hausaufgaben gemacht und unsere Arbeit trägt nun ihre Früchte: Ein wahrlich magischer Sound in jedem American Vintage Modell.

Die American Vintage ‘56 Stratocaster nimmt Sie mit auf eine Zeitreise in das Jahr 1956. Das Modell kam gerade brandneu auf den Markt und einer der womöglich besten und beliebtesten Instrumentenhälse wurde zum allerersten Mal verbaut: ein dicker, einteiliger Hals aus Ahorn mit einem weichen „V”- Schnitt und ergonomisch abgerundeten Kanten. Diese Detailverliebtheit setzt sich auch beim restlichen Instrument fort, wie beim einlagigen, weißen 8-Loch-Pickguard, dem leichten Erlenkorpus (Esche bei „White Blonde”-Finish) mit wohlgeformten Konturen und zeitgenössischen Pickups, Saitenreitern, klassischen Mechanik-Abständen und vielem mehr.

Blues Gospel Rock Classic Rock Folk Country

Every day a new guitar is introduced. The latest, greatest guitar ever made. Pretty wood, fancy paint and millions of dollars spent on advertising. This is not about smoke and mirrors, however in my opinion it is about the best representation on a vintage guitar ever made. I am 57 years old and I was fortunate enough to own an original 1956 Stratocaster, and yes I wore it out. I now own the American Vintage 56 Stratocaster and it is a better guitar than the original. That is correct, Better! Lets face it, Leo and his early employees were artist and master craftsmen but they did not have access to the tools and wealth of information that the Fender Company has today. I think he would be very proud and definitely give anyone his permission to put his name on the headstock. This guitar is the big brother of the original 56 and if you buy one I assure you, there will be no regrets. I bought the guitar from a dealer, however through the process I talked to the factory on two or three occasions and it could not have been more pleasant.

Beautiful instrument

Blues Jazz Rock Classic Rock

I purchased my sunburst Strat on ebay. It is something I normally would not do, but I got a good deal on it. When it arrived and I opened its tweed case I saw a beautiful, simplistic instrument. I also smelled the sweet smell of nitro finish. The finish is beautiful, and the neck is like heaven :). The guitar sounds like a Strat is supposed to and is very resonate. I would recommend this guitar for blues and rock (jazz) players. It's not really for metal.

One more American Vintage!

After the vintage '65 I bought last month, I found a marvelous aged white blonde '56. Really light, mine seems to have a one piece swamp ash body.
The neck, fatter than my '65, holds really well in hand. The tone of these new pickup sounds so good!
Finally, the look of this guitar is just so great!

A Magical Instrument

I have the aged white blonde model, this is a magical guitar. Truly one of the best guitars I've ever played. I went into the store thinking I might get a maple neck American Standard, but when this was put in my hands it was one of those "this is my guitar" moments. I had also played the American Standard, but it was not even in the ballpark (although still a fine guitar) of this Vintage '56. This guitar has such an extraordinary subtle response to touch, and such a fine tone (or many tones). It has a striking beauty and the neck feels amazing with your hand wrapped around it. I bought this model new a few months ago and it gets better and better the more it is played. It's like 1956 made brand new, there is a freshness and excitement to this instrument, I still feel happier just opening its tweed vintage case...

This guitar is not a trip through time, it is past coming back to your present hands. If you want to experience a Strat as it was you should give this new old stock a chance, will be your chance too

I purchased my Red Stratocaster 1956 Vintage series in 1980 and have loved and played it ever since.
It had fantastic tone and playability when it was new and thirty three years later it sounds and plays even better (like a fine wine).
The only thing I changed was the pickup selector, from a 3 way to a 5 way (which was supplied).
If only Fender could bottle the essence that only age brings.
