The Custom Deluxe series exemplifies high-end instruments for discerning players. We use our finest woods, hardware and electronics in this series, and new 2013 models represent a new summit of sophistication. The Custom Deluxe Telecaster features a hand-selected ash body with a 3/16”-thick flame maple top and comfortable contours. Other premium features include a flame maple neck, 9.5”-radius fingerboard in maple or dark rosewood with 22 medium jumbo frets, Twisted Tele® pickups, pearl-button chrome tuners and a new low-profile Telecaster bridge with compensated brass saddles designed by the new Custom Shop Research Special Division.
