Fender Lounge Forums T-Shirt PHOTO CONTEST
Win a Fender HotSeat by Overkill Design!

Note: To be eligible to enter this contest you'll first need to ORDER one of our new Fender Lounge Forums T-Shirts; click here to get one.

OK, guys and gals ... use this contest thread to post pictures of you, your family members, your dog, your pet hamster, whatever -- wearing one of our new Fender Lounge Forums T-shirts. Needless to say, the inclusion of Fender gear in said photos is also strongly encouraged. Photos taken onstage or backstage are sure to get a big thumbs up as well. Photos taken in exotic locations and strange lands are sure to do extremely well in this contest, too!

This "photo submittal" phase of this contest is going to be left up for a good long while ... in fact, my current intention is to leave it up here until we've sold out of the shirts, which will likely be months and months. I do reserve the right to post a firm cutoff date for photo submittals if it looks like the shirts simply aren't going to move -- we'll have to play it by ear.

After the photo submittal phase draws to a close, we'll start up the second phase of the contest, in which I'll compile a list of all photos submitted, and will set up a private voting area. The individual whose photographs collectively receive the largest number of votes will receive a Blackface Fender HotSeat by Overkill Design. These Overkill HotSeats are as rare as hen's teeth and have a retail value of approx. $180 US -- they're very, very cool and collectible!

Rules / Regulations:

(1) Each user may post up to 10 (ten) photographs in this thread. Since your final rating will ultimately be based off an accumulation of all votes received for *all* photos you post, posting more photos is wise practice! However, submitting more than 10 photos is grounds for disqualification from the contest so pick your 10 wisely.

(2) Photographs posted must be original, unaltered images depicting actual individuals in actual circumstances; images crafted using 'PhotoShop' or other similar image editing software are not eligible.

(3) Any individual who submits content that is in any way in violation of the Forum Rules will not be eligible.

(4) Employees of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (the Sponsor) or any of its subsidiaries, affiliates or agencies, or members of their immediate families, or persons living in
same household of each, are not eligible to enter or win.

(5) Entrants under sixteen [16] years old must obtain parental consent before accepting a prize if selected as a giveaway winner.

(6) Since I'll be handling prize fulfillment personally, I'm pleased to report that this giveaway *IS* open to international participants!

Any other questions? Feel free to ask right here in this thread. And by the way, the record will officially show that the idea of a photo contest was suggested by member strato -- and while I'm certainly not trying to steal strato's thunder here, it's always been my intent to do a photo contest based around the shirts and offer up an actual prize. Great minds think alike, apparently! Smile

Even though I'm most assuredly NOT eligible for the giveaway, I couldn't resist posting a pic ... and this time with a proper *GEETAR* in hand. I was over jamming at a buddy's house this past weekend and spotted a prime photo op -- that's the world famous Fountain Hills, AZ, fountain that you can see in the far distance at left in the pic. (Once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's highest fountain, though it no longer holds that honor.)

(Removing this pic now that the promotion has gained some steam on its own right, as I've certainly gotten enough guff from coworkers at this point for posting it here. LOL!)

Well, no exotic or special locations here - just in the living room of my home, pluckin' Delilah's strings (she's my American Deluxe).

I'll try and add more photos to this post/thread in the coming days/weeks. Maybe I can convince my wife to help me spot out some of the beautiful locations and landmarks the Denver area has to offer.

The hotseats are really cool! I had never seen one of them before. Oh, how handy one of those would be. Very Happy

Thanks Brad!

Additions:

This is my lovely wife, Tess, with the mistress Delilah. Yes, she is wearing my giant Fender Lounge shirt, but I will convince her to get one of her own eventually (she likes the girly-fit T's). As you can see, a better amp is next on my "want" list. Ha!

Floating the tremelo on Gladys.

Replacing the backplate after the work is done.

Hey Brad, no worries about stealing thunder, from bragging rights to cool prize, I think I know which way the Forum members are going to go on this one. Thanks so much for picking up on this idea, and for developing a set of rules that I think will encourage alot of participation.

Well, here it is, the first Forum Shirt photo from yesterday's thread - not a great shot, but I hope to earn some votes for the historical aspect.

Only 9 more to go!

This is a great idea...can't wait to get my shirt. I think it's due tomorrow.

I'll have to find my best guitar face though just to be able to keep up with the ones already posted. Wink

I'd love to be in the contest...However, on the Strat tools tees, you only have medium; on the Tele tools tees, you only have XXL. Are you selling so many tees you can't keep them in stock? If so, bravo. Otherwise, please, get some real stock in so more folks can buy.

Thanks

The contest only applies to the Fender Lounge Forum T-shirt, not all the other shirts. Those are nice shirts, but they don't count in this thread.

Has Jessica Simpson ordered one of these T-shirts?

I hope so.
