I think Brad is too busy right now to monitor everything. I keep expecting them to pull the plug, but its taken on a life of its own. Ads have been popping up too. Nothing against this stuff in other sites, but I dont think this is the right place. Especially since we have been getting increasing numbers of young forumites, some of whom are probably posting many of the jug shots. _________________ My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives. Although on a *personal* level I don't have a problem with the subject matter here, at the same time I also think it's a bit silly of folks not to acknowledge the fact that others do. Think hard and tell me you don't all have at least one individual in your life that might be deeply offended by this thread.
Admittedly there's stuff like this all over the Internet these days but in some sense, that too is kind of the point -- it's already all over the Internet so there's really no reason to bring it here!
In any case, it was playful fun at first but some of the pics being posted are really pushing it as far as being appropriate for a family-oriented forum. I knew for sure it was time to hit the "Lock" button when my own 5 year old came up to the laptop a few minutes ago and my immediate gut reaction was that I needed to remove what was onscreen -- that's not really an action we've ever wanted to have associated with this forum, period.
Carry on ... just on some guitar-related topic, preferably! _________________ Brad Traweek - Fender
