The October issue of Guitar World magazine reviews the Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster Electric Solidbody guitar, and gives it the Guitar World Gold Award in Performance.
The magazine praises the model and says it satisfies today’s players’ needs with a “classic look that true Tele aficionados adore,” and “timeless, no-nonsense Tele electronics.”
After delving into the guitar’s specs, Guitar World wraps up with this:
“The Fender 60th Anniversary Telecaster gives true Tele fans cause to celebrate, with its just-right combination of vintage vibe, classic tone and modern playability.”
Guitar World also provided a video review, which you can watch below.

I enjoyed the review very much. I just ordered one of these instruments from Guitar Center in Bridgeton, Missouri. It is not blond, but a sunburst finish, which the fellow told me was special to Guitar Center 60th Anniversary Telecasters. He said that this would make it a little more special. But, I wonder if it is exactly the same as the one I just saw a review of or has it been changed in ways other than finish. Could you tell me?
