Roosty rock singer/songwriter Ari Shine has released his new album Ghost Town Directory. Its 10 tracks cover a broad range of styles and feature a wide screen sound which give Shine’s already anthemic tunes a radio ready sheen.
“I really feel like I got to sink my teeth into these tunes,” Shine says. “The guitar tones are dirtier, there’s lots of slide and a punchy in- your-face kind of sound. I’m also more comfortable with these songs lyrically and where my voice is sitting in them.”
The album has been championed by a variety of media outlets including AltSounds.com who posted, “Ari Shine has managed to capture the most classic elements of rock and roll.” Elsewhere, the McKeesport Daily News proclaims “This 10-track collection of driving pop/rock tunes figures to have a broad appeal with its numerous catchy guitar riffs and plenty of catchy choruses.”
Shine will perform for a national audience during his upcoming March 30 appearance on the John Kerwin Show (check listings on www.thejohnkerwinshow.com) prior to making an international trip for a special performance in Tel Aviv, Israel, on April 12.
