9.30.09 - Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris will perform together tonight on The Jay Leno Show on NBC.
Harris and Gill, a career-long Fender Telecaster player, are in Los Angeles this week to participate in a “guitar pull” with Melissa Etheridge and Dwight Yoakam. Proceeds from the Oct 1. event at Club Nokia will benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s All for the Hall fund.
It’s been a busy few days for platinum-selling artists Paramore.
In conjunction with Monday’s debut of their highly anticipated album Brand New Eyes, Paramore performed “Ignorance” on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien and then kicked off a month-long North American tour Tuesday night at the Fox Theater in Pomona, Calif.
According to Rolling Stone, frontwoman Hayley Williams missed the encore, “Misery Business,” after telling the crowd that she had been sick for the last week.Her band mates invited the crowd to sing the lyrics instead.
