Back From Austin!

Just got back from South by Southwest and we had an amazing trip.  Got to see and hang out with some of our faves like Superdrag, Graham Coxon, Dinosaur jr, Maserati, Jane’s Addiction and Dead Confederate … as well as checking out some new bands out of the UK we’ve been working with like Fighting With Wire, Twin Atlantic, The Electric City, and more.  Enjoy the pics!

Have you seen Steve Bailey’s 1975 P Bass®?

Yes, it’s the all-out musical equivalent of searching for a needle in a haystack, but … Fender signature artist Steve Bailey is looking for his 1975 Precision Bass® guitar, and we figured we’d try to help him get the word out.  Now, it’ll be a relatively easy instrument to spot since it’s been modified with a 24 fret fingerboard as you can see in the photo below.  Steve traded it at Brian’s Guitars in New Haven, CT, on Tuesday, October 25th, 1977, and in the 30 years since has developed quite a case of seller’s remorse, it would seem.  Steve is offering up a small finder’s fee for any of you folks out there who can successfully reunite him with this instrument.  Know where it is?  Drop me a line at ForumAdmin@fender.com and I’ll put you in touch with Steve.
