LOS ANGELES—Tom Morello, guitarist for Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave who plays firebrand folk as The Nightwatchman, brings his Justice Tour to the Nokia Theater April 17. Joining him for the show will be Slash, Perry Farrell, Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains, Ours, Wayne Kramer of MC5 and Denis Leary (FX-TV’s “Rescue Me”) and his band the Crown Royals with the Rehab Horns.

The show is a benefit concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Road Recovery, a nonprofit organization comprised of entertainment industry professionals whose lives have been touched by addiction and other adversities, and who now wish to make a positive impact on the lives of others. The concert will include a performance by Crazy James, a youth rock band from Road Recovery’s Performance Workshop Program.

A life spent in the grip of abuse or addiction is truly and injustice,” Morello said. “Road Recovery’s mentor programs foster important change in young people’s lives – and they rock hard at the same time.” “The Road Recovery Foundation is proud to have our 10th Anniversary Benefit Concert at the Nokia Theater Times Square on April 17th presented by Tom Morello’s Justice Tour 2008,” said Gene Bowen, founder of the Road Recovery Foundation.  “Morello’s genuine support  for worthy social causes is indicative of his personal involvement.   Morello’s rage is dedicated to urging music audiences in their community to take action, roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty for change”.

ABOUT THE JUSTICE TOUR—Tom Morello’s two-week, seven-city Justice Tour stops in Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, Asheville, NC, Washington, DC and Boston before concluding with a May Day show in Chicago on May 1.
