This summer has been a smashing success for Band of Skulls. The British alternative rock band gained momentum starting in April when their single “I Know What I Am” became an iTunes Single of the Week.

Along with a recent series of sold-out shows, the band played at Lollapalooza in August and will be featured on the soundtrack for New Moon, the follow-up movie to the massively popular Twilight.

The band is currently running an enter to win promotion, offering up a Fender Bass Guitar that was designed and hand-painted by the band’s bassist Emma Richardson. Additionally, five runners-up will each receive a Band of Skulls autographed vinyl.

Instead of a run of the mill registration, Band of Skulls is requesting entrants to take action on their social networking sites.
